What is Mesotherapy?

The Greek word Mesos means middle and therapia means to treat medically and that’s why the name Mesotherapy. It is a non-surgical treatment in cosmetic medicine which uses multiple injections of pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, vitamins, and plant extracts into the subcutaneous fat. By lipolysis, mesotherapy injections target adipose fat cells causing rupture and death among adipocytes. Michel Pistor was the founder of mesotherapy. Mesotherapy aims at diminishing excess weight, cellulite, improve body contour, neck and face rejuvenation etc. FDA approved injections consisting of vitamins and minerals are administered.
